How Many Days Until I'm...
Find out exactly when you'll reach any age
Popular milestone ages
How it works
People look up future age milestones for all sorts of reasons. Legal thresholds like turning 18 or 21 matter for voting, driving, and drinking in different countries. Round-number birthdays — 30, 40, 50, 65 — prompt reflection and celebration. Others simply want to plan a party, book time off work, or satisfy curiosity about when a specific age arrives on the calendar.
Enter your birth date and a target age, and Clockr calculates the exact calendar date on which you reach that age. For whole-number ages, the tool adds that many years to your date of birth — so someone born on 14 March 2000 turns 30 on 14 March 2030. The countdown from today is broken into years, months, and days, accounting for months of different lengths and leap years. You can also enter fractional ages like 21.5 for a half-birthday, which adds six months after the full years.
Milestone birthdays hold a special place in many cultures. Eighteen marks adulthood in the UK; twenty-one is a classic coming-of-age in the US; thirty, forty, and fifty are decades people often celebrate with parties or trips; and sixty-five has long been associated with retirement. Round numbers feel significant because they give us a clear marker on life's timeline — even though every birthday is, strictly speaking, just one more day.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find out what date I'll turn a certain age?
Enter your date of birth and the age you want to reach. Clockr adds that many years to your birth date and shows the exact calendar date, plus a countdown in years, months, and days from today. For example, if you were born on 5 June 1995 and enter 30, the result is 5 June 2025.
What date will I turn 18, 21, or 30?
It depends on your birth date. Someone born on 1 January 2008 turns 18 on 1 January 2026; someone born on 15 August 2005 turns 21 on 15 August 2026. Use the quick-link buttons for 18, 21, 30, 40, 50, or 65 to populate the target age instantly, or type any age you like.
Can I find out when I'll be a specific age in the past?
Yes. If the target age has already passed, Clockr shows when you turned that age and how many days ago it was, rather than a negative countdown. For example, if you are 35 and enter 30, you will see the date you turned 30 and the number of days since then.
What day of the week will my birthday fall on in the future?
Clockr displays the day of the week for your milestone date below the countdown. Because your birthday falls on the same calendar date each year, the weekday shifts by one or two days annually (and by two days across a leap year boundary), cycling through all seven days over time.
How accurate is this calculation?
For whole-number ages, Clockr adds years directly to your birth date — the same method used for legal age in most countries. The countdown uses calendar arithmetic that respects varying month lengths and leap years. It counts full calendar days from today to the milestone date, so the result matches standard date-difference calculations.
Can I calculate half-birthdays or fractional ages?
Yes. Enter a decimal age like 21.5 and Clockr treats the fractional part as additional months — 0.5 equals six months after the full years. This is useful for half-birthday celebrations or any milestone that falls between two birthdays. Whole numbers remain the primary use case and are what most legal age thresholds rely on.
